2 Peter 1:10-11 says: Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, ye shall never fall: v11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
If there has ever been a time in our relationship with the Lord and our position in the Kingdom that we need to be certain and confident of who we are is NOW!!! Our Kingdom Identity is the essence of who we really are in the Spirit of God. Most of us have been confused and in an serious identity crisis because we've been given "titles" by men and not seeking God to know our true Kingdom identity, in other words we've been confused about who we are and what our name is because we've listened to others say what they thought and felt and wanted, and not taken the initiative to seek our Heavenly Father for the name or identity HE gave us before the foundation of the world. When we are born into this world our natural parents give us a natural name, but we come into this world already been given a spiritual name by God and unless we seek Him to know what that name is, we accept whatever is said, what we feel, think or what comes from others. Alot of us have been operating in error because of this. Much of what we have been taught in "church" has not been the will or way of the Kingdom. It has been the way of man. Now in this time of the Heavenly Father restoring the order of the church (the Body of Christ) to it's original state, we must know who we are and where we fit in this gigantic Kingdom puzzle. WE must know our job assignment and details of our assignment. Some may have just one and some may have many, however each of us must master whatever God have assigned us to do so that we edify the Body and show the world the True picture of the Kingdom of God. I challenge us today that if we don't know who we are in God, to seek Him to know who He says we are. Embrace who He says we are, See as He see who He says we are, Be confident in who He says we are, Become who He says we are, and Own who He says we are. We must also seek understanding and revelation of our assignments in the Kingdom and how to carry our the details of our assignments for the Glory of God. We must do this so that we can receive the promises and rewards of the Kingdom.
